Ileana reduced her remuneration

Ileana, who was allegedly dropped out of an Allu Arjun-starrer for quoting too high a price, is finally doing the film, confirms the producer, DVV Danaiah. Ileana will star with Allu Arjun in the venture that will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. “Yes, Ileana is the female lead and we are going to start shooting the film in September,” confirms Danaiah. When asked if Ileana reduced her remuneration for this film, Danaiah said that she agreed to do this film according to their budget. “She has been very cooperative and readily agreed to do the film,” he adds.
Currently, Ileana is busy with Nanban, which is the Tamil remake of the Aamir Khan-starrer 3 idiots. She reprises the role of Kareena Kapoor in this film, which also has Jiiva and Srikanth in vital roles. Earlier, when CT had quizzed her if she was paid a bomb to act in the Shankar-directed film, she simply said, “I don’t discuss my paycheque.”
